		No Lasky Ms. Judy AM Letter of the week G (Magic Fingers) Introduce new unit of fire safety. Show a picture of a Firefighter. Ask students to share what they know about firefighters.

No Lasky Letter of the week G (G Books) Point out to students what the firefighter is wearing. Ask why they have to wear these things. Helmet, coat, pants, boots, oxygen tank. Decomposing the number 4 - taking 4 cubes and breaking it up into 2/2 and 3/1 by covering. Fire Prevention Day	No Lasky Ms. Judy PM Review the gear that firefighters wear while fighting fires. Begin a discussion about the tools a firefighter uses to fight fires. Hose, ax, ladder, fire truck. Subitizing numbers 1-5 - quickly identifying how many without counting.
